I've been listening to the breeders a long time ago.There is a song called cannonball that I really like from them.Did you know that the indian girl that sings in this band used to be the pixies bassist?

good,I like the pixies as well,it's an obscure band with obscure songs that is really underated to me.but I agree it's not for all kind of public though.But this band really know how to play with feedback.About as much good as kurt cobain did years after.This band was one of his biggest influence too.
