I don't think I'm an unfair person, but there are those of you out there that seem to get off on breaking the rules and making others lives a living hell. So, with that being said, these are a few common sense rules that I expect all members to follow:
Do not degrade anyone.
You are not better than anyone, so do not act like it. If you want to give feedback, please make it constructive.
"D00d, that sux!" will not be accepted. Also, if you can't ignore an insult, that's your issue, not mine. Don't go tattling on anyone.
If you are having an issue with your account, please get with me and I will try to resolve it. Do not try to fix problems yourself.
Do not create multiple accounts.
Each person should only have one account. If you forgot the password to you current account or have any other issues with it, please get with me and I can fix it. That is the job of the site admin.
Double, triple, quad-post.
I don't care how many posts you have in a row, just try not to have a whole topic of nothing but your posts, m'kay?
Try not to post a topic that already exists.
If there is already a topic that mirrors the one that you just made, it will be deleted. Check the forum first.
I'm also pretty tolerant about going off topic, as long as it doesn't go on for a couple of pages and get too severe. I know that every now and then that the conversation branches off into another area, but try to stay on topic or create a new one.
Follow the board descriptions!
Each board is there for a reason; so the whole forum doesn't end up in a cluster fuck of random shit mixed in with specific topics.
Got something related to MK MUGEN?
Put it in the MK MUGEN board.
Got something related to MK, but not MUGEN related?
Yup, there's a board for that.
Got something MUGEN related, but not related to MK?
I hope you know the answer to that.
Want to post how you were six years old and you crapped yourself in public?
Yeah, there's a Random board, and you can post there to share with us, but you obviously have issues that we cannot help you with. Expect a lot of ridicule.
No fighting.
I love this phrase because it sums it up perfectly:
"Fighting on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics; even if you win, you're still retarded."
Do not disrespect anyone.
Leave the name calling on the playground, m'kay? I don't like giving time-outs. If you must fight, do it in PM. All arguments will be deleted.
Do not whine that someone 'stole' your work.
I'm sorry, but the truth is, if it's out there on the internet to download, then you put it there.
If you do not want anyone and everyone to download your work, do not host it on a file sharing site.
If someone requests a file from you, e-mail it to them, or host it temporarily until they download it and then delete the file from the hosting site.
On the other side of that, if you ask something from someone, and they are nice enough to send it to you with the request that you do not share it, please honor that.
Also, if you want to protect your files, sign it somehow.
Put your name somewhere on the file so that we can see that it is yours.
Keep in mind, though, I'd rather keep this forum up with the idea of sharing and not a place to claim fame.
If you made it, state it, then drop it. That's all that needs to be said about it. If you are using other people's work, give credit where credit is due. Keep in mind everyone, we are ALL ripping off Midway/Capcom/SNK/etc.
NO pornography!
You do it, and you're gone! No one wants to see your slash art of Sub-Zero and Scorpion partaking in the butt-sex.
You can use profanity to your heart's desire, but once you cross that fine line of random string of Tourette's syndrome cussing to steamy trashy romance novel descriptions, you're ass is gone. ¿Comprende? (a nice segue to the next rule)
Not really a rule, but a guideline; please try to use English. I hate the Google Translator. It always spits out such garbage translations. >_<
Please try to make at least one post!
We have had some issues with SPAM-bots joining up and harassing other members. They do not post comments.
So, if you join up, please post a comment somewhere, ANYWHERE. There's a whole random board that you can post a little 'hello' or something.
If you are going to post a release, either it be characters, stages, sounds, full game, or anything else, please try to post pics or videos.
CHATBOX RULES
All members:
Please use your forum name in some way so we do not have to guess or ask who you are. If you use a different name and you are a member, you might be demoted back to a guest or banned from chat because we do not know who you are. Please do not impersonate anyone else by using the name of someone else. This will be an automatic ban.
Treat all members with respect and kindness. I will NOT tolerate insults, name calling, rude comments, or arguing. Take it into private chat, PM, or E-Mail if you must. I don't want to see it.
No flooding chat with repeated submissions.
Use English in the main chat window, please. The majority of members speak English and would like to join in on the chat in the main window. If you need to use another language, please use private chat, PM, or E-Mail.
Mods:
Please enforce all rules.
Please take quick action to ban spambots.
Please provide information on bans. Submit to me a screenshot and/or e-mail on why the ban was placed. No need to inform me of spambot bans. Do not ban out of anger or personal reasons. When you ban, please inform the member why you are banning them in a clear, calm, and professional manner.
In the event of an accidental ban, please apologize to the member.
Do not ban as a joke. Don't even type out the phrase that you have banned someone. It's not funny and there will be consequences.
Mods can only ban once per six hours, unless of course you know that a person has been banned permanently and have come back into the chat. In extreme cases, please get with me through chat, PM, or E-Mail.
Steps of action to take in the event of ignored rules:
First offense - Warning in chat.
Second offense - Kick with reason
Third offense - Ban for one hour
Fourth offense - Ban for one day (24 hours)
Final offense - Perma-Ban (forever)
This list will be up for revisions, so keep that in mind.
If you have any questions, comments, or reports, please feel free to hit me up.

ALL MODS MUST READ!
I will be implementing a rule for the moderators.
If you are inactive for two weeks, your mod status will be removed and may be considered for another member that is more active.
Due to the fact that I am away more often lately, I need to rely upon my mods to keep the peace, organize, and assist other members.
Before I remove your status, I will alert you with an e-mail and private message. If you respond to me in one day, no further action will be taken and your mod status will remain intact. If you fail to respond to me in 24 hours, your mod status will be demoted to member status.
If I make another member a mod in your place, you cannot retrieve that status. If I do not elect another mod and you contact me and convince me that you can be relied on, then I will consider renewing your mod status, but you only get one renewal. After that, if you are still not active, I will not send a 24 hour warning e-mail. I will remove your mod status and send you an alert of that action.
Also, if I have to send you three warning e-mails, the fourth time will be an e-mail alerting you that I have removed your mod status.
I believe this to be a fair system.
If you have any comments, concerns, suggestions, complaints, or even some dirty names to call me, please feel free to voice yourself.
I hope this has been clear and will make this a better community for all of us.

Please try to avoid posting simple things, like "ok", "ditto", "me too", "thanks", etc. We do not want to log in and see that there is a new post only to find out that you posted a one word comment. The same thing goes for PM messages, e-mails, and the chat box.
